Hello! It's been a little quiet over here this week... Martin was out of town and I spent most of my evenings totally unplugged, and loved it! You know, living in pj's and watching "The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills." Haha, it sounds so bad, but it felt so good! ;) I also finally sorted & edited our wedding photos. Okay, that took an embarrassingly long time considering we were married 8 years ago. I can't wait to surprise Martin with this post and share it with our family overseas. We had a small wedding of about 30 people and rented a heritage house right by the ocean. It was important to us that our wedding be laid-back and down to earth. Neither Martin & I are overly stuffy that way... in fact, I spent much of it bopping around barefoot and sitting on the porch sipping wine with friends. Pretty awesome! It's hard to put our day into words because I felt so much. I was nervous and excited but mostly beaming. I remember falling more in love with my husband and friends... I think we all walked away feeling like we had shared something so incredibly sweet and special with one another. I can't help but be reminded of the vows that Martin & I took and to not take one day for granted. It's easy to get caught up and distracted by all of life's busyness. But at the end of the day, there's nothing I love more than my family and my commitment to putting them first. I can't wait for a million more adventures with my amazing husband!
