the pumpkin patch

Excited to be back and sharing photos from our pumpkin patch! Did everyone have a fabulous weekend? We had Canadian Thanksgiving and it was absolutely lovely! We visited Martin's parents and I brought my usual concoction of veggie ground, yams, cranberries and gravy. Plus we had the yummiest "out of the oven" pumpkin pie with vanilla ice-cream. So, so good!

So yes, back to the pumpkin patch!  A few weekends ago, Martin & I headed to our local pumpkin patch for a day of fun! And my gosh, it was sooo much fun! If you're looking for one to visit? We loved venturing out to Aldor Acres in Langley! We stopped by the petting zoo, took a tractor-pulled hayride to the pumpkin patch, then picked up farm fresh veggies, mini gourds and yummy preserves. It was pretty darn perfect!!

As for my pumpkin picking outfit?! I wanted to wear something that was cute & comfy, plus include colours that reminded me of a beautiful harvest and changing leaves!! Although (whoops!) I probably won't wear heeled boots again as I almost wiped out a few times. Oh well, it made for good laughs! And... is it crazy that I'm already thinking about next years outfit? I'd love to do a plaid dress, tights & knee socks + hunter boots. Ah, so cute!
