midi coat for spring

Originally, I was hoping to wear this outfit with dark grey over the knee boots, but sigh, I'm still searching for the perfect pair. Fingers crossed I'll turn my fashion dreams into reality soon! Also aren't midi coats so fantastic for spring? I just bought mine at Zara and it's such an easy piece to pair with leather leggings, boyfriend jeans, or a pretty midi dress & flats. And speaking of spring? I'm excited to start adding colour to my wardrobe again, both in my make-up and clothing choices. It's been a very neutral winter and I'm ready to mix it up!

Oh fashion, you fickle thing you! As soon as I think I've got my style pinned down... I'm ready for a change and revamp. But I think that's always been my thing! I love being a chameleon, love to try new things and experiment with my look. I'm even tempted to dye my hair for the new season. But I don't know, we'll see, my poor hair has been through such a beating and it's feeling super dry. Hence, the straight hair... I'm trying to take a curling break!

This past week, I also had a lady date with my gal Cee, of Coco & Vera. We met up at Nordstrom's and I was so excited to nab Chanel's Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow -- I absolutely love it and can't wait to do a review/full post on it soon. While there I also bought the Tory Burch Small Robinson Leather Cosmetic Bag in blush and it's seriously the prettiest. Love carrying my everyday essentials in it and it's the perfect size for my purse. I also peeked at the Chloe bags and fell in love with the Faye bag in Tobacco. Sigh!
