I originally styled this skirt (it's silk & vintage, BTW) in the winter of 2012 and I'm so much happier with how I wear it now. You can see my original post here "Blooms & Oatmeal Knits" - if you're so inclined! Looking back, the tights and knit sweater felt a little too weighty. But this time around... the skirt is the star of the show and feels much more feminine. Nailed it!
Also, sooo excited to finally share my new Rebecca Minkoff Mini Affair Bag with you guys!! While my Chanel dreams are certainly far from over, for now, this is the perfect bag to help me get the look + at a much more realistic price! If you've been eying the mini affair bag as well? I can't recommend it enough! The chain can be worn long or doubled, the leather is beautiful quality and the flap top opens to a logo-lined interior with a single pocket. Plus the bag is the perfect size for my iPhone, mini card holder, lipstick, mints and keys!
- Add a sheer midi cardy and swap heels for black stiletto booties.
- Add a denim vest and whiskey hued grecian sandals for a day of exploring.
- Or, add a white tweed blazer, a low chignon and a red lip for a night out.
