Piers & Sushi Dates...

When the weather is this good, all I want to do is be outside. I've been dreaming up adventures for Martin & I: afternoons spent wandering our city, patio lunches, outdoor concerts, long country drives, photography trips, stay-cations, weekend visits to nearby islands... and soon, days spent laying by our outdoor pool. Yup, I'm in full daydreamer mode! Blame it on our shorts & sandal weather last week - it's been incredibly warm! I'm also feeling creatively charged these days... I'm excited to plan for more days spent doing what I love. Photography! I've even been toying with putting together a very teeny tiny jewelry collection. I still have my online store "Fox & Clover," but haven't done anything with it in ages. I'll keep you posted!

Other than that, this week has had its challenges. I've been hit with another health flare-up. Unfortunately, they happen from time to time, and it's the pits because it leaves me feeling sooo fatigued. But when life gets tough, I definitley like to step up to the challenge and fight back. I've been doing lots of research and learning about what kind of foods to eat during flare-ups. So, I've been drinking protein packed smoothies, juicing, and making healthy soups. I usually just throw a bunch of stuff into our blender with vegetable broth and do a quick puree. My favourite combo's are carrots, apples and parsnips with mild curry. And I'm hoping to try an asparagus, potato soup with thyme next. Mmmm! And then, it's time to sit down and create a workout schedule for myself. I'm in desperate need of one. What's new with you guys?!...
